You asked, I answered. I am teaming up with the California Waterfowl Association to host a weekend of duck hunting and duck cooking in California’s Delta this January. It’ll be hunts in different places, duck processing and cooking classes, and I’ll be cooking dinner.
I try to always stop and reflect on what I am thankful for each Thanksgiving, and this year is no different. It’s been a wild, crazy ride this year, and I owe much of it to you.

I can finally announce it: I got a book deal! Topic? Something close to my heart: ducks and geese. Yep, I will be writing what I hope to be the definitive cookbook for both domestic and wild ducks and geese — and I am asking for your help in doing it.
After more than six months, nearly 40 states and 30 book dinners – not to mention more than 26,000 miles on my little white pickup – my book tour is over. It’s been a wild ride.
I am on the road again, on book tour. Off on the longest, scariest road trip of my life. I will be living out of my truck for 9 weeks, hitting 21 cities. The success or failure of my book depends on this trip. And I need your help.
