I'm a bit late to the part, but I was quite disappointed that my finances didn't allow me to attend. It sounds like it was amazing, and I loved Holly's photos.

My favorite image is the lede; makes me feel like I was there, watching. I also love how it guides the eye around the image.

Matt: Glad you got a chance to try it! Next time I am prepping in Chef's kitchen (and there will be a next time), come and bother me. As for duck season, it is just getting going.

Carina and Hellen: 100,000 thank-yous!

The cart FELL OVER?!?! This is why I spent the whole event biting my nails just waiting to read your blog about the "behind the scenes." What a fantastic post, fantastic event, and fantastic idea. I can't give you enough kudos.

Hey Hank! Thought about bothering you during your Wednesday prep but you looked pretty involved. I had the honor of serving your food all day Thursday and trying most everything you and Chef put out and both offerings were amazing. How's your duck season going?

I was there and yet like everything that you and Holly do, I am consistently amazed before, during and after the event.

So glad we could be there, and although I really wanted your name in at the top of that menu as the declared winner, the whole event was a stunning feat to behold and a success for you both. Congrats!

We have a 6 person club at the North end of the Salton Sea in So Calif. I do all the cooking. This is a fabulous web site. Shooting has been rather slow so far this year here. I love to cook wild game and fish.
